I may just revert to grave backspacing as I'd be pretty miffed getting banned.

Granted I never got a chance to extend to an expo. Not impossible, I'm sure, but even with this macro in some custom games (one in particular I just came from) even with this macro, I felt very short on production. It's not like you can blame a zerg lover for thinking about it as having to cycle through multiple hatcheries to up your production is a lot of work. A macro like this in WoW where it just does a sequence of moves would have been fine I'm sure as that's built in, but this does seem to be a little off. For me, I'm a protoss player, and haven't the heart to try this out in a rated game 123 or 4. I don't think Blizzard will have much tolerance for the type of macro you describe if they can detect it. I think remapping keybindings is allowed simply because different languages use different keyboards and people are not always pressing the same buttons to perform the same actions. Using one button to perform the function of multiple buttons (even if you have to press the button the same number of times) is essentially using a 3rd party program to gain an unfair advantage because the other players have no in game equivalent to perform the same function. In SC2, there is no such ability to generate macros. In WoW, this type of macro could be created and saved to an account using the in game macro function. It's really hard to say what is or is not allowed by Blizzard at the moment because there have been no banning waves for SC2 to date. I hope this thread is not too old that I cannot post to it, but I wanted to ask about a macro that has no timing delay as what may be acceptable with the new SC2 keyboard with macros. Questions, comments, scathing rebukes and sentencing me to have 8 of my 10 digits cut off to delimit my ability to play an RTS? With my ring finger on grave and thumb on V. In the past, the best way I did this without many buttons to 1 was to bind grave to backspace. Question 2: Do you think Blizzard or the rest of the world would consider a sent mouse command outside the realm of legitimate macro binds? Question 1: Is this just a horribly sinful macro abomination in the StarCraft II melee scene? There is no timing delay, as stated we cannot have, and only 1 action is performed per push. Press backspace (centers over 1 of many hatcheries in sequence) I built a macro that rebinds the grave key ( ` ) to execute 4 different, singular actions each time it's pressed for a total of 4 actions per 4 pushes of it. #14 I hope this thread is not too old that I cannot post to it, but I wanted to ask about a macro that has no timing delay as what may be acceptable with the new SC2 keyboard with macros.
